How to play
-
Win by taking a Leader to zero
You each have one Leader with Life on it. Drop your opponent's to zero and the game is yours.
-
Draw two, then do everything
There is no separate battle step — one phase, and you summon and attack in whatever order you like.
-
Rest your Summon card to field a Character
Once a turn. A Character can't attack until your next turn.
-
Attack with DMG or POW
DMG is what you hit a Leader for. POW is what you hit a Character for, and only one that is already rested — an upright Character can't be touched. The attacker never takes damage back.
-
Chakra pays for jutsu, nothing else
You get five, and summoning never costs any. They don't return on their own: rest your Leader to turn them all face up, which costs you its attack that turn.
A jutsu set face down can go off on your opponent's turn, even mid-attack; both of you can keep answering, and the answers resolve backwards. Decks are 1 Leader, 50 cards, 5 Chakra and 1 Summon, up to four copies of any card — the deck builder checks all of that for you.
